As Jesse was leaving for work and I was finishing nursing Emily, I sat Emily up and she let out a humongous burp. Jack says "Emily says bye Daddy by burping."

During dinner Jack looks at me and says "Mom, do you smell something funny?" I said no. He repeats himself and again I answer no. Then he says to me "I smell something funny that starts with the letter F and came from me."

Jack made Jesse and bunch of drawings for his birthday. While Jesse was going through the pictures and admiring them, Jack points to one in particular and says "Dad this is a picture of you and me" and then in a quiet voice he whispers "You kind of look like a pig."

Right after we got back from our last visit to the bay area Maddie was sitting on my lap being just about as annoying as possible. I was getting frustrated and she all of a sudden stops what she is doing and says "Dear God, please let us go back to Grandma's house."
